Sorry this reply is a few days late, I have been wrapped up in my own dilemmas lateley. If the noise you're hearing is a wierd sounding whine like something out of a sci-fi flick, that's normal. It took me a while to get used to the "new" sound of my B7500's hydro. I actually kind of like it. It's "neat." And congratulations on your new purchase. I have the same tractor with a 54" belly mower, R4 treads, and FEL, and I love it. Up around 170 hrs to date, and no complaints whatsoever... except maybe not having enough room to play with it. ....

I purchased a B7500 Hydro, w/R4 tires, and belly mower in Jan. 2002. Traded my BX2000 for the machine. I like the added traction and ground clearance the B7500 has. Put my LandPride 5' rear blade on it and moved some dirt last week. It can push dirt over the top of the blade if you want to laod it full. The BX would never do this! ....
